Whilst currently full, I look forward to taking on new Year 12 A Level Economics and Business students from this May. Last year via 1:1 online tutoring, I supported 20 students over some of the summer holidays to boost their UCAS predicted grades, with the majority of the students having some form of autumn assessment after Year 12 summer exams.
I’ve now launched my partner page on my website to give my professional partner’s some well deserved kudos and also to share my focus on networking and continuous improvement. I share some of my recent networking and service enhancements below with the help of, and thanks to the TTA, tutor2U and the Economics Factory.
TTA
I am a member of the Tutors;’ Association, the professional not-for-profit body representing the tutoring profession and I thoroughly enjoyed attending the TTA National Conference back in October and networking at the recent TTA Leeds networking event. Great to see Jon Nichols the President again and meet fellow tutors and business owners. Thanks to Jon and the TTA Board for all you do.
tutor2U
I thoroughly enjoyed the Continuous Professional Development Tutor2U A Level Edexcel economics event in London hosted by Ruth and Jon back in February. As ever some great tips which I have been passing onto my students. Ruth and Jon have such in-depth knowledge and really add value. I’m already booked onto the A level business CPD event in July. Again thanks to Ruth, Jon and tutor2U for excellent CPD.
Economics Factory
Having high quality exemplar model economics answers to all types of exam questions across the main examination boards is really helpful to students, and adds value to my offering (within my hourly rate of course).
