It was wonderful to visit the Tutors’ Association National Conference and to see circa 350 delegates, from tutors, tutoring companies and tutoring suppliers. Year on year this Conference is growing and it is particularly significant growth this year – I am not sure of the exact numbers but 35% growth is a fair starting point. Many congrats to the TTA Board, John, Sam, Richard, Chris and all for their efforts – fantastic!

It was lovely to catch up with my fellow Chinese frontier travelers again, Jane Bilham, Callie Moir 👩‍🏫, Colin Murphy, Joanna Gibbs (PGCE, QTS, B.A. (Hons), M.Ed.), Matthew Curnier, Oliver Batten, Richard Cowell, Chris Wordsworth, Ilesh, Yuekun Li, John Nichols and Persuade, though I think I missed Arun Sharma – hope you’re well Arun. I look forward to seeing you this friday Yuekun!

It was great to meet up with fellow tutors and new people, namely Sumantha McMahon, Charlotte Watson – Wonderlearn, Sarah Brouner, Andrea Gadsbey MCCT, Helen Osmond, Rysia Connolly, Danielle Long, Penny Meadows, Arthur Moore, Anne Morris and Simon de Pinna – lovely to meet face to face again Anne and Simon.
