It’s been a busy Easter!

My wife, daughter and I went to Whitby for the day and we have just celebrated Eid with family and it was lovely to see my son and his girlfriend Ruby – a great day!

In life health and love are the most important things and we waiting on news of family health challenges from our beloved in Pakistan.

In the meantime I have started my 4am starts to assess as many mock papers as I can for my 24 “A” level Economics and Business students and 14 Year 12 students.  Its obviously key to manage expectations here, I’ll do what I can and maybe assess part of the paper (and finish in the lesson) having sent out updates to all my students and families so they are aware.  Its putting the student at the heart of things by doing all I can …. and the students understand and benefit.  Of course I am occasionally asked to assess more papers and I just have to be honest and advise where I cannot as I need 6 hours sleep a night ….
